Autumn Lights

Sometimes life presents us with unique challenges. Suddenly, we are faced with facts that shock us and over which we have no control.
The loss of all my photography equipment in Antwerp due to burglary, confronted me with a very extraoridinary challenge. My specialized setup was the key to my style.
Unknown to me, Belgian photographer Ben Holemans loaned me excellent professional equipment just 24 hours later.
With a modern Canon, I couldn't achieve my style without having to process each individual image for hours to get close.
So I had to take a step back into my own past as a Canon photographer and use the possibilities available to me to create something new. This is how "Autumnal Lights" was born. A photo series that not only helped to cushion my financial loss but also motivated me through a deep crisis.
A selection of 22 designs, printed a maximum of 10 times in 10x15 format, is available for donations starting at €8. The prints are numbered and signed. A calendar is in the works.

Anyone who knows me a little knows that photography has been a lifelong companion.
As a musician, I'm not very well known abroad. Therefore, photography has taken center stage. Small galleries of my work will be created in the coming months.
